Two Weeks Post Op

Today NiNi is 2 weeks post-op! :-) Her incisions are healing nicely. She continues to feed well, she is about 5.5kg, and her tiny ribs aren't sticking out so far. :-) She wore a new outfit today from Aunt Tammy and Cousin Paige. :-) We are going home tomorrow!! :-) Baby will need O2 for the next few months. The echo yesterday shows pulmonary hypertension, which is from the high pressure of the R ventricle. Over time, as the R vent remodels, the pressures will decrease and she will be able to oxygenate off oxygen. :-) Baby's urinary system is normal, but she has urine retention, so she'll need antibiotics for a while. WE ARE GOING HOME TOMORROW!! :-) we should be d/c'ed @0900. Our 1st cardiology appointment is in the afternoon in Sacramento. Thank you again to everyone for support, prayers, and the edivvy card. It has made such a difference!! Tomorrow we start a new chapter, and NiNi will finally see her home! Mom and I are packing like crazy. Good night for the last time, from LPCH! :-)
