Happy Chinese New Year to all! The year of the Rabbit is here!
I'm so happy to be celebrating with my daughter this year!! :-)
My parents bought NiNi a gorgeous new silk Chinese outfit to wear for the holiday! And, her tiniest squeaky shoes sort-of fit! She is SO proud of them! The cats? Not so much. They run like crazy when they hear/see her in those shoes!! :-)
I took my daughter for her first chinese food meal tonight. Actually, we got take-out from an excellent nearby restaurant. NiNi LOVES chow mein noodles, wontons dipped in sweet and sour, and the cooked chicken! :-)
So, "Gong Hai Fat Choy" to all! Or, "Xin Nian Kaui Le." That's Happy New Year in Cantonese and Mandarin.
