with grace and gratitude

My friend Jaime Kinser created a blog for February, with a different heart baby's story for each day. NiNi's story is the 15th. As I looked through pictures and wrote and re-wrote her story (hard to condense 3 years and >1500 pictures into a synopsis), I was amazed at how REAL it all still feels...the stress, the terror, the hanging-by-my-fingernails that I did for so long...my palms were sweating and my heart was racing as I looked at some of those photos and thought about certain moments in the journey... I am still so grateful and feel so humbled and blessed to be NiNi's mama. She is the best part of my world, the joy of my life, and I am privileged to share every day with her. :-) As we head into our 3rd Gotcha Day anniversary on 3/8, I am saying my prayers of thankfulness for NiNi's precious life, and the gift of motherhood. www.28daysofhearts.blogspot.com http://i49.tinypic.com/256fbt5.png
